Pea Ridge Blackhawk Cycling Team

The Pea Ridge Blackhawk Cycling Team was a recently added extracurricular activity for students of Pea Ridge Schools.

The team is comprised of students from 6th – 12th grade and coached by NICA-certified volunteers.

From August to December, our team can be found most Tuesdays and Thursdays practicing at The Grove, our very own mountain biking practice course. But on the weekends, we take advantage of all the amazing mountain biking courses available in Northwest Arkansas.

During racing season, our cyclists are true competitors and are excellent representatives of our schools. Wherever we go, our students and coaches adhere to NICA’s Five Core Principles:  Inclusive, Equal, Strong Body, Strong Mind and Strong Character.

We are proud of our program and we look forward to seeing it grow and getting more kids out there on bikes.

NICA stands for the National Interscholastic Cycling Associate. The Arkansas Interscholastic Cycling Association is a branch of this group. Read more about it by clicking here.
